Whistler Mountaineer

Whistler Mountaineer:

This three-hour train experience will take you between Vancouver and Whistler, BC, two world-class destinations. This route follows the famous Sea-to-Sky corridor and delivers stunning views of snow-capped mountain peaks, lush forests, seascapes, cascading waterfalls and the beautiful serenity of nature at its finest!

The route highlights of the Whistler Mountaineer include: scenic views of Stanley Park and West Vancouver, Oceanfront views along the shores of Howe Sound, Shannon Falls, Mount Garibaldi, Brandywine Falls, a breathtaking journey through Cheakamus Canyon and, of course, the world-class mountain resort of Whistler!

The Whistler Mountaineer can be enjoyed independently or else in conjunction with several other vacation packages. Some can include a ride on the Fraser Discovery Route, a two-day, all daylight journey between Jasper, Alberta and Whistler. The hospitality of the Whistler Mountaineer can be enjoyed in comfort by your selection of either the Coast Classic Experience or the enhanced service of the Glacier Dome Experience.

Coast Classic Experience

Coast Classic Experience: features high-quality service, extended legroom and scenic views through large picture windows. This experience includes: reclining seats, assigned seats, access to the Heritage Observation Car, either a chilled continental breakfast or light meal served to your seat, complimentary non-alcoholic beverages, transfers to and from the Whistler and Vancouver train stations and informative service by friendly and knowledgeable Onboard Attendants.

Glacier Dome Experience

Glacier Dome Experience: features unparalleled panoramic views and an enhanced service in custom-built Dome Coach. This experience includes: fully reclining seats, assigned seating, access to the Heritage Observation Car, full Dome windows with panoramic views, either a hot entrée with fresh fruit and coffee service or else warm sandwiches served with afternoon tea, scones, strawberries, Devon cream and petit fours, meals served with fine china and linen service, complimentary beverages served to your seat, transfer to and from the Whistler and Vancouver train stations and informative service by friendly and knowledgeable Onboard Attendants.

Heritage Observation Car

All guests will be able to enjoy unrestricted views and fresh air in the Heritage Observation Car.
